Motivation and Why of Successful

Derive your success through motivation-ask question why do you want to do it?

Motivation is the force, which accelerates the normal behavior of an individual to pursue any type of goal. Where is the word motivation derived from? It is derived from the word motives. Motives are all the external or internal stimuli, which cause the behavior.  Motives are basically our goals and produce behaviors.  One motive can often account for many behaviors. Behind Motives is our drive and needs. Drive is active when there is some felt need.  Thus drive is an aroused state which leads to action for the need.

So:

Motivation is the Force-Motive is the Reason/purpose or goal-Drive for the motive:  i.e. hunger (Psychological)-Need to fulfill the Drive:  i.e. food (Psychological). Motivation depends on the goal to be achieved.  In order to motivate ourselves to set a goal to be successful, one need to ask a simple question, why do I want to do it?

The Successful Know Their “Why”

The successful know their “Why” for success or the motivation for success. The successful know their goals and objectives and always question “Why” they want to do it? They know the How of doing it and when they want to do it? The first key to creating wealth is to determine your “why.” Ask yourself, “Why do I want to be wealthy? What will financial wealth accomplish for

me? What kind of pain will it eliminate in my life? What will wealth empower me to do? What are my wants, needs and desires?” Answer yourself honestly. Simply saying “I want money” is not enough to create unlimited wealth. Your own personal and very specific “why” is the only

thing that will drive you to achieve your wants, needs and desires. There are no wrong “whys” and they are always very personal. Maybe it is that you want to have a better lifestyle, more time freedom, you want to travel or just spend more time with your kids. Perhaps your daughter needs braces, or your son needs new shoes, the cost of which your current budget does not allow. It could be that you are just tired of living paycheck to paycheck. Maybe you want to give to your favorite charity, or perhaps you have suffered financial devastation in your past and you

never want your own children to experience the same kind of suffering. Maybe you are just burnt out in the corporate rat race and the uncertainty in today’s job market and you desperately need stress reduction. Regardless of your reason “why,” you must first identify precisely what it is before you will ever be motivated to take any action on your own behalf and follow a suggested formula for achieving your goal of success and wealth creation. Simply stating that you want success and more money is rarely enough for any individual to commit themselves to reaching their goals. As simple as it sounds, a well-defined “why” from the bottom of your heart is absolutely critical to success and wealth-building. Anyone can tell you how to succeed and create wealth, but only you can determine the true reason you will. It will be based upon your own personal “why.”
