Prof. Dr. Minhaj A. Qidwai is a distinguished healthcare strategist, academic leader, and pioneer with over 40 years of international experience across Pakistan, the Middle East, and North America. Currently serving as the Dean of Allied Health & Medical Sciences at Al-Kawthar University, he is widely recognized for his transformative contributions to healthcare governance and education. Dr. Qidwai’s academic foundation includes an M.B.B.S. from Dow Medical College, followed by an MPH from the University of Oklahoma, an MBA from the University of Hawaii, and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation from Canada.
Throughout his career, Dr. Qidwai has been a catalyst for systemic change, notably serving as the founding CEO of the Sindh Healthcare Commission (SHCC) and initiating Pakistan’s first MBA in Health Management at IoBM. His intellectual legacy is centered on his unique 5Ss Philosophy—integrating Self, Society, State, Systems, and Spirituality—and his G.R.A.S.P. Model for sustainable institutional growth. A global consultant for organizations like WHO and UNICEF, he is currently at the forefront of research exploring the ethical intersections of Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights in healthcare.
